Well, phew, thank goodness for that.

After last week I was seriously wondering whether I wanted to carry on with the series at all, and the episode last week—as I blogged about—left me with a horrible taste in my mouth that the writers hadn’t bothered to research the canon, let alone the character of the Doctor.

But this week made me cheer out loud because it proved that last week wasn’t an aberration is was PLOT, and it was handled this week by Amy giving the Doctor a swift crack round the face with a verbal right-hander – and as much as I don’t like The Duck Pond, I was right behind her.

So, yeah. Loved it. Plus the fact that the Doctor speaks Horse, there was a sexually ambivalent horse called Susan. But have had enough of the Wild West now thank you, kindly. I don’t want this show which can be set anywhen ending up like Quantum Leap which only went to the 20th century and much of the old Who series which took place in UNIT on earth!
