Writer's Block: Winter wonderland

[Error: unknown template qotd] Well I think everyone knows the answer to that. If I had the money I'd probably go and live in Austria on a mountain for the Winter.  I don't actually like being cold, but I love the snow so much--and all the fun that comes with it, like sledging, ski-ing etc that I forgive it. Perhaps it's the way that it makes everything lighter and brighter in these dark days or the way it whitewashes everything and even places like London are made icing-beautiful for a few minutes. I'd hate to live somewhere where there were no seasons.  My parents lived in Spain for several years but got bored with waking up to blue skies every single day... The tropics have never interested me, just going to a tropical island to lie on a beach is dullsville.
