yes yes, i know…

I wish they'd stop banging on about "snow on high ground in the east of England."

Have they BEEN here? What high ground?

They can’t make their minds up either. one minute it’s “No more snow, definitely no white Christmas” and then it’s “fresh snow will fall tonight.”

Had to dig the car out this morning!  it was covered in about six inches of snow.

Winter Eggs are here. Bred this one. still haven’t managed to get any of the “Legend” eggs yet.

Adopt one today!

*whine* It's rainy and foggy here. CRAP! I want snow! I want snow and Strauss waltzes, dammit! :)

it's rather lovely - don't think it will last till Christmas but today it was all sunny on a white world.

:)

Mum went on her annual pilgrimage to Thursford on Sunday; she said the snow covering the hedges at the side of the roads looked like layers of Mr Whippy ice cream. Asolutely stunning. We have about 2cm up here.

And here's me in sunny (hollow laugh) Poole, not a flake seen yet and there's Paul Oop North with 18".

Of SNOW, you smutty minded woman!

We've got a few inches, (har, har) but it's supposed to warm up and rain on Christmas. One degree lower and we'd have snow, so I'm hoping... because it's supposed to freeze at night and snow on Boxing Day, and snow over ice is NOT FUN.

You can keep yer damned snow. I have just spent the worst six hours to make an eight mile journey because of it, eventually all the guys, including myself got out and took turns helping to actually push the cars uphill over the ice so that we could move. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Got in the car at 8pm. Home at 2am : (

That high ground is on the top of the what used to be the ark in Peter Pan's Playground. Or your back step whichever is higher.

Well at least when I lived in Essex there USED to be high ground, we'd always go to One Tree Hill to sledge, but here? Trust me to live in the flatlands when what I really love is sledging.
