Heroes! Chapter 1 and 2

First Impressions:

Yeah - Global. Right.  I think America needs to look up the meaning of "this series is Global"  ETA: What I meant was... that it was released in a ton of countries at the same time, BUT NOT HERE!!! (other than hidden away on the Sci Fi Channel. UNFAIR!!!!)


I loved it. Intriguing but not baffling, enough hints to keep me interested whilst giving a good indication that I'm gonna get hooked!

Who do I love?  The Flying Brothers - Peter and Nathan(?) and Hiro - I just ADORE Hiro.  Also liked the look of Isaac, too. 

What are the ships? Flying Brothers, I'm assuming?  or Mohindra and Peter? Too early to tell. squeee!

I HATE being a whole series behind nearly everyone else!

I was just thinking that. One Japanese guy, one Indian guy, and...a girl from Texas? I'm also amused by the women - a stripper and a cheerleader? Couldn't they think of anything else?

It gets more global as it goes on and better. Peter and Nathan are so one of the slashy ships...and I do love Claire and Hiro! *thinking of the season finale* Wait till you meet Sylar. :D

I was dissapointed with the wimmin, but I suppose they have hard FBI wimmin without skills.

I'd have liked to have seen Lisa Tarbuck as a "mum too busy for superpowers thank you very much"

The ships I've dug about in the most, myself, are Nathan/Peter, Peter/Nicky(Jessica), Mohinder/Sylar, and Mr. Bennet/Mrs. Bennet (probably the only ship I've ever had that was actually, you know, slightly functional).

That said, there's also quite a bit of Hiro fic (I'm not as big a Hiro fan, which is blasphemy to some but there is goes). I've also seen quite a bit of Isaac/Peter that has a dynamic similar to Snape/Black, but with more petulance and less outright hate.

It's so lovely to have another entrant into this fandom =)

Eee! I don't know if I'l ever write any, but I'm looking forward to knowing the charries better and to be able to read some without being lost.
