Skyrim gobsmack

I love things in games that you can just sit and watch. I remember being so impressed with Splinter Cell when someone had put moths flying around a lightbulb for no good reason other than they could. In Metal Gear there at things like tiny spiders (which will bit you if you touch them).

In Skyrim there are giants, and they are really peaceful creatures. They probably have some alchemical use if you kill them—perhaps their spleens are useful for making potions or something but I’m not going to try and kill one just to find out. (although that’s the beauty of the game, you could if you wanted) it’s just nice to sit on a hillside and watch the giants walking around the landscape with their mammoths. Amazing stuff.

Things that make me go “hee!”

or rather “hee hee!”

Just read a book where the couple are using a sock as a safe “word” because one of the characters can’t speak.

Perhaps SOCK wasn’t a great word to stick into a gay sex scene.

“All he had to do was to let go of his sock.”
