I'm watching Chicago. I was expecting to loathe it (as much as I detested Moulin Rouge) but it's completely addictive. Now I'd really like to see it on the stage. Great songs!  Yes. I'm late to the party. What's your point?

I learned something today - that horses can eat locusts. I had horses for 20 years and never knew that. Amazing.

I still need lesbian fiction recs for the Dear Author and Smart Bitches awards... I have loads of gay nominations. Bi please? Lesbian please? Trans please???

I adore Chicago. I thought it richly deserves its Best Picture Oscar. The musical was first produced in the 70s and based on a play from the 1920s which was based on real events happening at the time in Chicago.

Re: Horses, a vet-tech friend says they're occasionally born with big ol' canine teeth that have to be removed. Vampire horsies! But seriously, I guess that means omnivore genes, so why not locusts? Lots of protein, very crunchy... yuk.

Moulin Rouge does nothing for me, but Chicago is one of the musicals all the females cez nous love. Many a car journey is enlinvened by us breaking into 'Nowadays' or All that Jazz.
