I had chilli at lunch, and it's burned all the left side of the roof of my mouth. ugh. Oh well. Looks like I'll have to DRINK to make up with it.

Drink milk... or eat a spoonful of butter (ack!). Apparently, it helps (whereas water only makes it worse).

And of course we'll look after you. Even the lurkers who've never bothered to introduce themselves but have a gluttonous appetite for Underlucious fics, and now, thirst for anything signed by Erastes. :o)

So Rwday has gone to war? Wish I could've been there this year. With the current monarchs, it should be most interesting! I wish her great weather and a wonderful time at Pennsic!

One of my mother's friends has a bichon named Melinda. It's an adorable, sweet little dog. *sigh* If I ever get a dog of my own, she'll be tiny. But probably a mutt because I'm quite sure I'll always be poor!

Discovered a very nice and treacherous combination several days ago - take a sip of ouzo (you know what I mean? The Greek stuff? Don't know if there's a different English word for it) and a sip of red wine. Make sure to savoure the mixture in your mouth a few seconds before swallowing. Repeat several times.

Then make sure you stand up *VERY* slowly...
