The Perseus Catalogue for the Autumn Line is out!  IGNORE THE COVERS, Mr Rostant wasn’t available in time to do the covers for the catalogue, but he’s doing the final covers – these are just mock ups so the books could get into the catalogue on time.  Well done Donald and Lee!  *skipping madly* Oh god, I so hope this line is successful – I want Mere Mortals to be out next year!!

I actually quite like the mock covers, though they could have picked handsomer gentlemen. But I'm sure the final covers are going to be wonderful. And I'm as excited about these two as I was about ours. They're going to be fabulous!

The mock covers are better than I expected from what Lisa (the editor) told me. I actually like the horsies on the mock-up better than the ones on the real cover .. but the gentlemen are better-looking on the real one. These two... Philip - on the left - looks a bit like Wellington, which is okay, but the chap on the right... ye gods. Sulky little bugger, not at all like Brendan.

The official publication date is NOVEMBER 3 - but the editor says it will start to ship on October 13.

I'm just glad the rewrite is DONE!!
