Mere Mortals/unnamed thingy/cats
Jun. 12th, 2009 11:08 pmCrispin (Mere Mortals) is being an arse. I don't know why he is, exactly, but he's proving not to be the little naive young man he has been proving to be for most of the book. I think that he would be higher maintenance as a partner than he gives out he is. If things don’t go his way he doesn’t react as well as I thought. *frowns at him * I’ve also found the location for the next project (so far unnamed, which is annoying me because I usually find the name before I start out) which is Lombardy and it’s beautiful. I do not want to be sidetracked with the shiny new project but it taunts me with its 1930 roadsters and its 1930-ness. Save the Erastes. So here’s my plea for charity: Send me stern looks with “finish the Mere Mortals you bloody attention deficient moron.” I would start a community called “give Erastes 40 whacks, but I think you would all enjoy that too much)
There was one of those “Writer’s Block” memes a few days ago which asked “do animals feel regret” and my answer was “i am sure they regret getting caught and this LOLCAT definitely illustrates that!!

Actually, I sympathize. Nick has been ridiculous for two days, lying curled in T's arms, sticking his tongue out at me when I even glance his way. Oh mercy forfend he should have to, you know, WORK for me. (on the plus side, T is at least off the beach--where he vacationed for almost a month--and talking to Naomi and me)

Date: 2009-06-13 03:07 am (UTC)I thought that was the reason so many partners tell me that famous phrase, in total disgust, "Well, you know how men are! Such big BABIES!"
*Cue eyeroll.*
Speaking of which, the sooner you dispense with the bratty twit and finish his storyline, the sooner you can be off swanning about Lombardy and admiring the sceery.
No, that *that* scenery.
*smack.*
I suspect on the 40 whacks that you'd enjoy it too much!

East from you, I think.
