I'm trying to get my new better half (well, 3 months new) to read more (he wants too, just being a therapist with a side of musician/actor, he does not have much time) - he's not adverse to reading homosexual stories, and his actual degree is in history - so he could be of some use to you.
Hope all is well besides this short *crosses fingers* spate of bad luck...
