Vanity Fair with Reece Witherspoon. Not a bad adaptation, even though RW is NOT up to the task.

But to change the ENDING???? What moron thought that was a good idea???

*smites Hollywood*

Day with Dad, good but I worry a little more about him every week.  I guess I just have to make the most of him while he’s around.

I saw the movie when it first came out. Since I had never read the book nor seen any of the previous movie adapations I didn't know the ending was changed!

Right now I'm getting ready to watch the 1981 mini-series "Brideshead Revisited." I intend to break it up into three days. I'll definitely wear my slash goggles.

You don't need goggles. I was boggling at how absolutely correct and yet extremely slashy it was. It's just lovely, Mark, I hope you enjoy it!

I saw the miniseries, and trust me, you do NOT need slash goggles to see the slash. The slash is already there.

I just found out that Evelyn Waugh was a man! All this time I thought this homo-erotic book was written by a woman. I've been duped!!! :D

His first wife's name was Evelyn, too. His friends referred to them as He-Evelyn and She-Evelyn.

Probably the same moron who adapted The Scarlet Letter (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114345/) as a Demi Moore vehicle. What were they thinking?!
