Whatever else Tiger Woods has done, I can’t blame him for having a good book by his bed.

Tiger Woods' sponsors back him despite 'transgressions'

LOL! Good for them!

I think the gods of computer games (St. Mario and St. Vidicon of Cathode) have conspired to push me back to the WIP…With Assassin’s Creed 2 I’m on a bit where I have to play some mini games in order to win a precious rare gold mask so I can attend a very select masqued ball (and stab someone with my steely knives). The game is Capture the Flag – win 3 flags -  and I CAN’T BLOODY DO IT.  My opponent is like greased lightning and if I don’t leap onto the flag exactly in the right position, he’s in there,  and while I’m standing up he’s legged it. With my flag.

And yes, I’ve tried stabbing him. Not allowed. I am allowed to bump into him and steal the flag back, so I’m going to try ambushing him as he runs back to his base, instead of wasting energy chasing him.

God – I didn’t know Borders was in Administration. That’s a blow.

I finished The Catch Trap and yes, I did enjoy it. I think it was a bit bloated, to be perfectly honest and I got hugely bored of all the bickering in it.  I understand that it was to show the “extended family” squabbles thing, but it was a bit much.  I’d rather have seen more of the life of the circus.  However, very enjoyable, and as a piece of gay historical fiction, very very good and pretty much a Must Read, I’d say. Someone needs to get it back into print, convince the heirs that it would sell like hotcakes, because I’m sure it would.
