It's gorgeous! Ours are about 3' tall and only one bloomed. Except for the lollipop lilac (a mini grafted to a standard) and it looks like a little pink cloud.

We can just about see the buds on our lilac... but then it is on the north side of the house and due to altitude & northernliness I wouldn't expect our plants to flower etc. at the same time as yours :-)

Also - never forget the hard-boiled egg!

I would love a lilac. Our peony roses are doing good but we're looking out for the rain as this usually happens and squishes the life out of them and they end up lying on the grass.
