Adopt one today! - Adopt one today!

I’ve just taken my first Warfarin. Eek.

It was a BLUE PILL. Now, I get confused, does that mean I get to exit the Matrix or am I stuck here?

Follow the white rabbit. Ok, I think that was earlier in the film...

If it's any comfort, it works really well for horses! It's been used to treat race horses for years, so it has probably been tested well beyond the criteria for humans.

Out of curiosity, what dosage do they have you on? It's common for warfarin users to have a number of different dosages on hand. The PT-INR readings have a tendency to fluctuate all over the place. I have four different bottles, and am currently on the 4 mg (which is also blue.)

3mg - she gave me three boxes of different dosages, because they send your new dosage by post after each blood test (weekly)

what was interesting that my INR was 1 - which is base normal as you know, so the aspirin had been doing nothing at all.

I think I'd rather stay in. I didn't like the look of the food. Or the clothes. or the muddy dance floor.

I'll have to follow the white cat. Just as well she doesn't move far from the radiator.

Yes, I hope they haven't got the blue pills muddled up. I have to say that I'm terrified. Every pain i get is THE END and the list of side effects...the illness seems less hassle.

Well that's comforting. Next time I want a brisk canter, I'll remember that! LOL - thanks! But it is scary, all the same.

FYI, when I first was prescribed the warfarin, I asked if taking the aspirin was no longer necessary. I was told to keep taking it, as it and the warfarin act differently.

Is that true? Who knows? But I take the little aspirin anyway.

she's kept her dinner down, but she's clearly uncomfortable, I'll ring the surgery tomorrow and ask about cost of xrays etc.
