ok – so i’ve taken the plunge and with my birthday money I have bought an e-reader – it’s an Android, and was under £100. It’s the Mark One of the range, (which is now wafer thin and up to Mark Five, but for my needs, it looks fine. I only NEED an ereader, but these things seem to insist on coming with bells and whistles even if you don’t need them. I’ll give more details when I get it and find I haven’t made a mistake! I shall be very very surprised if I can get it working right out of the bloody box…

Do check out LGBT Laughs today – there are a wonderful flood of posts where people post their (mostly) LGBT themed Hallowe’en costumes. I have to say the Hagrid one made me laugh a lot.
