Fringe has been back since October??
Dec. 5th, 2010 03:27 pmand no-one told me! Oh, flist, you hurt me.
Oh – I didn’t mention that i DID hit 60k with I Knew Him, yesterday, which pleased me. I’m still tending to write around the awkward bits. And by awkward I mean the over-complicated bits that I can’t quite work out how to manage, but 60k is nearly a novel. I’ll be happier when it’s 70 or even 80k. No pleasing me, I know.
Merlin was good. I won’t say fantastic, but it is the start of the “main story” with round tables and knidgets and shrubberies. Actually the way they are playing Arthur is very sensible—he’s got much of Uther in him (stop that, at the back, I heard that) and I can quite see him being MR REMOTE because the Kingdom comes first and Gwen feeling neglected in the future.
I won’t spoil but there is a new character introduced and OMG do he and Arthur fall in love at first sight or what?? I think you’d have to be dead to have missed that. No Downtown and no Merlin…And soon no Strictly either. Gah.
Health: My eyes aren’t 100% yet – but I’m now driving with the occlusion off and it’s working pretty well. Similarly for walking around etc and watching the tv in bed, but it’s still a bit of a strain for using the PC although it does work if I concentrate. I don’t want to have to concentrate on using my eyes when I’m writing, to be honest. I can multitask but I’d rather not when writing! My next appointment isn’t until end of December, and I think I’m going to have a moan, because by then it will be five months and nothing actually has been DONE other than a few tests. Same for my heart, five months on, and it’s still fast and irregular. Bloody doctors.
My new uber rare dragon is incapable of breeding. Typical!
