Thanks to George Gardiner I've found six deleted scenes from Maurice that certainly aren't on my DVD extras. Boo, bad DVD. However these scenes are lovely. check them out!

I'm sourcing laptops today because although it's behaving right at the moment, it's been playing up terribly, the slash button was just on constantly, or the caps lock. No, it's not dirt, because I've take the keys off and cleaned thoroughly, it seems to have been caused by the fact that (obviously) I rest my hands on the spaces that are meant to rest my hands on, and obviously the weight has pushed something down that stays down.
Cats seem extremely happy to have me home today, Sevvie curled up on the sofa next to me, Lucius on the window-sill and Lili in her normal spot in front of the storage heater. Which yes, is on just for her…
i've been asked a couple of times re my geographical position re the Riots and am I ok. Yes, I'm fine. I live way way way out in the country in a tiny village that you wouldn't know was there unless you drove a four miles off the main road. There's been no trouble in Norwich or Great Yarmouth that I'm aware of, and they are both about 20 miles from here. But thanks for the concern!
What I'm watching: Been loving Falling Skies. I didn't expect to, but it's done really well and the story is turning out to be much more interesting that "Aliens arrive all their stuff belongs to them" It was over too quickly – only ten episodes, and now I've got to wait a year to find out what happens next! Noah Wyle, while not exactly a character actor, does a good job as professor turned soldier, but my favourite characters are Captain Weaver (wonder if he was called Weaver on purpose to pay homage to ER?) who has the most gorgeous mischievous eyes, and Pope who's the morally ambiguous loose cannon who proves useful but don't trust him as far as you can throw him. There are good performances by both adults and kids of all ages, so it does it all well. Roll on season two!
Also been watching Teen Wolf which isn't very gripping, it's just another beautiful young people involved with the supernatural. 90210 with fangs. I'm not really the demographic…Plus the Teen Wolf doesn't even turn into as much as a wolf as the film version and just goes a bit hairy and fangy. Obviously he needs opposable thumbs.
Writing.No. however i have the edit for the book-formerly-known-as-Chiaroscuro and I have to get them done by 4th September. That will count as writing, as they want some fairly hefty rewriting to the beginning and end. It's starting to worry me, to be honest. not the edits, the non-writing.
