Does anyone know of a free programme that facilities the making of paper bookmarks? You'd think there would be a ton of them, and I can't find one anywhere!!

There are a few "fun projects" on line where you can make one, but they are dependent on adding images and text that are already supplied, and some *shudder* are worse and have advertising on them.

Anyone? *hopes*

I'd use MS publisher, but paint should work, as might Irfanview

1) Got your book in the mail today. \o/ Can't wait to read it.

2) You didn't comment on me getting my first book contract. ::sulks, then gets over self::

3) You can just use PowerPoint or Pagemaker to layout what you need. (Stay away from Word--it's too helpful.) Or find someone in fandom who'll do it for you. Do you know BlueSpirit? She's talented at photomanips and graphics so I assume she can manage a bookmark, and she lives in the London area. Find her lj and check out her stuff... see if you like it. If you want an intro, I'll be in touch with her on your behalf.
Cheers,

If you do use word, you should be able to download an Avery Template from the Avery site. That way the formatting margins are there, but you can tweak it how you want. I just turn off the Word Assistant... it's basically only as good as it's first three letters.

I'm so sorry I didn't comment, my PC problems have been mega in the last few days and I can't comment from work.

FORGIVE ME! Congratulations!! I'm very happy for you, and I can't wait to read YOURS.

I did it in Word in the end. I have so little programme choice...

Thanks darling.

I'll try that - I did a decent one using word and tables in the end. But I'll check out Avery - thanks!

I read you have just did it, but for the futures, if you want, all the program by Adobe have trial version you can use free for a months

here is the link to download them

http://www.adobe.com/downloads/

I, for examples, had to do a Financial Report (boring) and use a Trial Version of Adobe Illustrator...

ciao, elisa
