So - I recently got my first royalty statement. I like firsts. However. As the period it covered was from release date of 26th November to 1st December - I am not heading off for the Seychelles any time soon. *guffaw* There's not even enough to pay for petrol to the end of the road!

However - they say: "I think you'll be pleased with the next quarter, the book is selling very well and you will have a nice chunk of change in a few months."

This - I couldn't help it - threw me into Hans Solo mode:

Leia: Luke: "More money than you can imagine..."

Han: "I can imagine quite a lot..."

HAR! I don't post it a lot, but I just wanted to say how fun it is to live vicariously through you. I can't write well enough to get published, but it sure is fun to hear what it's like. ^_^

Actually, that was Luke saying 'more money than you can imagine.' It was just after they'd got into that operations room on the Death Star and R2D2 had found the princess, who was scheduled for termination - Luke is trying to persuade Han to rescue her.

That scene has some of the greatest dialogue ever. Not sure what happened in the last 3 films, but someone fell down up on the job.

there is only one S in Han Solo.

Typo! It was a typo!!!! And I couldn't look up star wars quotes at work, so I didn't do bad, from memory. I just forgot how geeky my flist were.
