Argh! Deadlines looming... *scribbling frantically*

I'm doing a short story (no more than 2500 words but probably quite smutty) based in 1978 London, a couple of very macho gay punks. While I love my betae to pieces, and trust them implicitly, they are both american and were not around in London in 1978 covered in make up and with very silly hair like I was. *is solely responsible for the hole in the ozone layer*

Do I have any ex-punks (part time or otherwise) on my list? Do you know all the words to Hersham Boys? Were you THERE? If so, would you be happy to look it over when it's done? Just for anachronisms?

Well yeah, I was 6 in 1978. However, managing a punk band who were there and growing up in the punk band scene, you get a pretty good idea. I think I've spent more than 3/4 of my life in the punk scene in one way or another - punter, fanzine writer, band photographer, girlfriend, manager, door bitch, etc, etc, ad nauseum.
