Ooo. An Agent's asked to see a partial. And they aren't blacklisted on Preditors & Editors - Good Times!

To add to the 2 articles we already have in our "nuts and bolts" section of the Erotic Authors Assocation website - I'd like to add a list of "Things I wish I'd known when I started out"

Things like:

Some review sites/magazines/papers will only review your book before its published.
Check your agent on Preditors & Editors before going any further with them.
Learn how to format your document.

All that sort of thing. Things that we've had to learn through hard knocks and experience. Things we wish we'd KNOWN.

Any suggestions to add to the list? I'll credit, happily.
