One of my flist Max [livejournal.com profile] maxfromathens has some questions for us female m/m writers.

1. Why do you girls read and write homoerotic novels ?
2. What did you find in relationship/affair between two men/boys ?
3. Is it embarrassing if the novels include graphic sexual scenes(almost hard-core) ?
4. What difference do you find between homoerotic novels and gay novels ?
5. Which is your best couple in homoerotic novels or films (except comics/manga)?

Go HERE to help him out?

It's slightly off-topic for [livejournal.com profile] writing_sex, but I'd be very curious to see what replies you got there.

I am so totally not the audience for the poll, but I'm unclear on the precise meanings of questions 3 and 4. IMHO, they could do with a little more definition/clarification

I hope he does get some replies - why not ask him for clarification?

Dear vinnie_tesla, you are right. I thought that the term "homoerotic" is used in general to the novels which have m/m romance but less sexual description, while gay novels have more sex scenes and less romance. But yesterday I picked up a gay erotica anthology (for the first time), and on its back cover says homoerotic novels! Anyway, thank you for your remark. ( I didn't want to put a question like "female writers vs gay men writers". I thought it may sounds prejudiced.)

My dear Erastes.
I said I'm SHY and now you understand me.
Thank you for not only adding me to your friend, but also helped me for those curious questions I asked (Oh,they answered me honestly and politely). I can't find any other words, or, I have to use Ambrose's words thanking Fleury and Dunstan. My Spanish blood urges me to kiss and hug you, and my Dutch-German blood says play cool! I'm very confused, so I bow to you as Japanese does. Thank you again!
