But - Congrats to LeatherdykeUK for third place and to Busaikko for First Place! W00t! I have talented friends! You both get a pile of wonga, so have a very smutty time.
As for me I'm within a gnat's crochet (name that reference) of finishing Junction X and I feel utterly drained. /vapours.
There was an hilarious new comedy on BBC2 last night "Freezing" - which was, I believe, originally shown on BBC3. Basically a man decides to leave his publishing house and write his own book whilst still attempting to freelance and pass work back to his old firm. It's full of enfante terribles and people who worship the Emperor's New Clothes (this 19 year old writes 3 chapters of a sci-fi novel and no-one can tell if it's genius or if it's crap) so a lot resonated with me. There's also an hilarious agent who hates all his clients, the man's wife who's not a great actress and attemtping to find work. I don't usually like this type of comedy (Lead Balloon and the Office did nothing for me at all, for example) but I did find this funny. Probably because I recognised so many people in it from my real life! One amusing thing was the partial that the genius boy author sent out was all bound, and even had a cover illustration on it. Yeah. Right. Like any agent/publisher would even look at something like that.
