It's a rare occurrence, but nice!

Brrr. and random observations.

It's ruddy freezing.  My last place was a flat with really thick walls and it was cool in the summer and warm in the winter.  This place is freezing.  I'm wearing the most untrendy old lady slippers (well I will be an old lady, or at least I will be next year...ulp...) and a knee rug.  God I'd love to have central heating. Just ONCE before I die. Storage heaters just don't do the job, and particularly when there's only two in the entire house and none at all upstairs.  I love autumn and winter as you know,but jeez i hate being COLD. *shivers pathetically*

Lucius is still around but it's not quite two weeks yet. I'm hoping though, that he stays through the winter,it's so nice to have his furry face around.

True Blood!  SO good. It makes me laugh, it makes me cringe with horror, it makes me drool (I can't help it, I'm SOOOO in love with Eric) and I care about all the characters!  I was so sorry for ( SPOILERS )

I'm so sick of Strictly Come Dancing pretending that the Dance Off show takes place on Sunday. We are NOT stupid, BBC. When you are supposed to have this new era of transparency and honesty - so why try and fool us all when we know it all takes place on Saturday??? STOP IT.

I bought THIS shiny thing yesterday - not from Amazon, though - from Biblio.com. Yum. It was half the price of the UK version to buy it in America and ship it over. Including shipping. Sheesh.

I received my copy of Jim Butcher's "Backup" today and read it in half an hour.  Excellent little novella. I always loved Thomas and now I love him even more.

And I'm more in love with Top Gear every time I watch it.  Whoever changed the format and made it how it is now deserves some kind of Nobel Prize for Car Shows or something.
