Bits and Bobs

I Knew Him is now at 73k words. This is a bit worrying as I was kind of aiming for 80k and there’s no way I’m going to come in at that. I still have a wedding, a moider and a court case to deal with. I personally think 100K would be optimistic….

Also, spare a thought, it’s the anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar today, and it’s hard to appreciate the horror of a sea battle, where splinters can rip a man to pieces.

I find it amusing that walkthroughs give all this information about how to get all the goodies from locations while you are working your way towards your objective. I’ve found (particularly with the FEMA level in Deus Ex Human Revolution) that you can fight the End Boss, then go back over the entire level and every single bad guy has disappeared, leaving it entirely free for you to explore every single location at your leisure, hack every PC without bad guys running at every alrm, and  steal everything that’s not nailed down.

Which is just how I like it!
