rwi contest cancelled

While I’m pleased that public opinion has made the RWI state:

“We do not condone discrimination against individuals of any sort.”

I would have been more pleased had they simply allowed same-sex entries, rather than cancel the competition entirely, rather than allow them. But then I’m hard to please.

I’m also disappointed that they didn’t bother to reply to my email—it wouldn’t have been hard to have an official statement sent out to everyone who mailed in.
