I had a reply from Joe Abercrombie regarding the Map problem, he said that his publisher didn't ask for a map, although he would have supplied one if they had.  He then linked me to a post he made HERE which discusses it, so it's obviously not the first time the question has been asked.

If only all authors knew how happy a reply makes readers, they'd all do it. He did also say that he's planning to do something more in this world, but not necessarily with the same characters which jolted me a tad, because he left everyone in such dire straits.  If I don't ever see Logen again, I may cry.

Not feeling the Mae West. Horribly tired and I have a horrible constant whistling in my ears which usually means my temperature is going up. Do not want. Needless to say no work has been done today.  However I think I know what I need to do with Frost Fair to get it moving forward, is to take my own advice and write the scenes that interest me, rather than plodding on writing each scene that comes along.  Going to lie down now and do dying duck impression.
