Umm... The one I'm proudest of is the one that got accepted for "Men in Uniform" so it isn't online :P (until the book comes out at Torquere)
Next would be my Nano story for last year, under friends lock over at azashenya. But that's for making Nano rather than any particular story quality. [First post is public and over here (http://azashenya.livejournal.com/11525.html#cutid1).]
Um.. Something I'm particularly proud of that is online...
Lets see... My only piece of Star Wars fanfic (http://azashenya.livejournal.com/19893.html)
A piece I wrote about my mother (http://azashenya.livejournal.com/9066.html). When she read it there was only one thing she said I had wrong and a couple of things she added verbally... apart from the bit where she seemed to want me to write a sequel *grin*.
And my favourite vampire. He's a bastard but we love him anyway and, as my cowriter/editer/fan doth points out I should write more of him *grin*. Anyway his stuff so far is here (http://azashenya.livejournal.com/6430.html), here (http://azashenya.livejournal.com/6346.html), and here (http://azashenya.livejournal.com/19585.html).
Lastly a piece that is a summary (or spoilers if you look at it this way) for an ongoing project doth and I are doing for our own enjoyment, here (http://azashenya.livejournal.com/10186.html). If you want to watch us crawling (very) slowly through that story friend charlie_and_sam and when we notice we'll friend you back :).
Hmmm... ok... Um... Was I only supposed to recc one... rather than practically everything I've put online? *nervous grin*
Hum, I wasn't going to post my story, but then I saw this post, and went "what the hell".
Here (http://cadillacaro.livejournal.com/126006.html) is a random story I wrote for/during class. It's not really mind-blowing, but I really like it and will forever more detest tutor for giving me a pass.
The story I'm most fond of at the moment... isn't posted on LJ. Huh. I should fix that. But it's actually from the Digimon fandom. *pointedly does not look around as she fights a blush* But it's mostly using the character concepts, ignoring canon, and aging them at least a decade. *is not even the least bit defensive, really.*
But while I'm thinking about it, I should post it, since that's what this journal is/was supposed to be for. *skips away*
Well, I'm quite proud of a couple of light-hearted stories of mine:
Toadification (BtVS, Anya-centric). An abused woman too frightened to ask for vengeance. An abuser who enjoys causing pain. With the help of a spell to gain ultimate power and the wrath of some ancient gods, ex-vengeance demon Anya avenges the abused woman in a most appropriate way. And oh, yes...it's funny.
This was great fun to write. I love Anya. She's such a fantastic character.
Devil's Dance (Good Omens, Aziraphale and Crowley) A drunken wager based on the Arrangement between Aziraphale and Crowley leads to friendly competition...which could place the angel in a very bad situation indeed.
And just because I like it, On a Wing and a Prayer (Potterverse, Regulus Black) Sixteen-year-old Sirius runs away from home for the last time. Regulus, recognising his part in driving his brother away, goes after him. First of the Regulus Arc AU stories.
