I don't know how many years it'll be before I can buy it, because it's only coming out on PS3 - and I had some strange feeling that it was coming out on PS2. Don't know where I got that from. *cries*

There's just no point me paying £300 for a console that only has about three games available on it that I want to play.

It's not about exactly Metal Gear but I was dying to inform you.
"Smash Brothers"(Nintendo) is a series of game, maybe not popular in Europe. In it you can choose characters and just fight! I found not only we can choose Snake, but also he uses radio to get information about his opponents. Conversations with his mates are very interesting, very funny. He is generally very kind man, but seems to like to eat reptiles. In it I learned Colonel's past :D (affair with his brother's wife)
I don't know about English version, though.

Oh that's brilliant, I didn't know that you could do that. It's not my kind of game because I suck at pure fighting, but it's great that Snake is leaking into other games. They are going to kill him off in this latest game. I think my heart will break!

Yes, huge cut scenes are very much the meat of the MG games, it's quite infuriating. I've been replaying MGS2 and some of the chat between Raiden and Rose go on for ages. Luckily you can skip them as they are mainly Rose whining.

I'm sorry to hear about the clunky gameplay, that's a disappointment, it's always been so fluid and user friendly. I'm hoping that perhaps I can convince my dad to buy me a console at Christmas perhaps although - frankly - I don't NEED one, I'm happy enough with the PS2 with all the billions of games I haven't finished.

Ahh. You are a fighter, not a person who hides! I've tried the demo of GoW and died in about a minute.

I knew that Snake was old, he's officially only 43. *sob* I am fairly sure he's going to die, and that's going to upset me, pathetic as that is. It's like killing off Lara!
