I had a suspicion that my hearing was pretty naff, specially in the left ear.  I got this result, but I could only hear the lowest toned one with my right ear.

*cries*

This is weird - I had gaps. Couldn't hear A# or B, but I could hear most of the higher ones, though the last two were barely a whisper of sound even with the volume all the way up... I didn't claim to hear the last one because I sure wouldn't notice if that were my phone signal.

Well... That was painful. I got a 12, and I'm surprised that it was that high. My friends are always telling me that I can't worth a dang. (Well, they use stronger language, but you know...)

Time to go to an audiologist and get tested, then. A lot of people show hearing loss in the mid-ranges from urban noise pollution, esp. if they lsiten to headphones a lot.

In my son's school, they're not allowed to have cellphones during class. The kids have the ringtones that they can hear but their teachers usually can't, so they can textmessage their friends, etc, while class is going on.

I can't even hear higher than 10 and my husband who is always complaining that he can't hear anything, can hear 12. Does male hearing last longer than female hearing? I would've thought it'd be the other way around.*g*
