I've decided what I'm going to waste spend my fortune on, when I have one.

Book bindings.

It's the binding using for novel at the beginning of the twenty century. The same work I saw in the novel for example by Paul Leicester Ford (I have some cover in my website). Elisa

yes, but these are new and enormously expensive - and so pretty!!!

I have a few beautifully bound books, but GOD - i'd love some designed especially for me.

The older book I have is a Holy Bible of the sixteen century, from a Venice manual binding print. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to read, in Latin and with very strange characters. Second it is another Holy Bible, of the eighteen century, in vulgar (actually the very first edition the Pope allowed in vulgar), and this one is wonderful, with many stamps binded inside the pages. When my mother had some financial trouble, many years ago, she thought to sell it to an antiquarian, but when she realized the man wanted to destroy the book to make small paints of the stamps, she preferred to sell some silvery object she had and the Bible remained in my family.

The Italian Renn style was one of my favorites too. :D

They need a male option for the Erotica style, though. [pokes bookbinder people]
