Although it's worryingly NOT like March roaring in like a lion. I think we are due some gales at some point!

Working on Chapter six of MM. Things are occurring.

Lili is actually on the windowsill in the sunshine and not welded to the radiator, and Lucius didn't come in for his breakfast. Yes, it must be spring.  Whether I see Lucius later on today or in 3 months time, is an experiment worthy of Schroedinger. ETA; he's here, exhausted, unhungry and covered in mud. Full of mouse, if I'm any judge...I despair of my louche lad.  Lili is sulking and hungry because the doctor said she's not to have any more dried food as it can contribute to cystitis, and she's not happy, she loves her biccies more than anything.

I've just finished "The Vesuvius Club" (pressie from Chris Smith) which I thoroughly enjoyed. Spoilers ahead. Book 43 of the year. eek!

I did like it, I loved Lucifer, of course, and Charlie ("needs rescuing six times before breakfast") particularly, but all in all it got a bit James Bond towards the end for me. I'd have preferred more wit and less special effects.  I think I'm going to have to take it off The List, as it's steampunk, to be frank, and not real historical.  Chris tells me that the next two books aren't as good, but I'll have to read 'em anyway.  However I won't be ordering them from my local library, that's for sure. *grumbles*  Well worth a read if you haven't tried it, you'll adore the characters!
