Radio-Eek!

Ok - I'm hyperventilating a little.

Just got off the phone with the local paper, I emailed them a week or so ago telling them about Transgressions and False Colors, and they emailed me back yesterday, then phoned me and said that yes, they'd like to do a story.  Hurrah.

He rang this morning, for what I thought was going to be the interview, and he said he wants to put me on the radio as well.

*blinks*

I just emailed them and said "Hi, I'm an author living in... and I have been publishing with small publishers for a few years but have now sold my book to... blah blah. Then gave them the link for the publishers weekly announcement and told them a little bit about m/m romance.

It's not that terrifying (says the person who has been on local radio ONCE). Have a spiel prepared, and think of things they might ask you ('Why did you start writing m/m?' 'What's your favourite historical period?' etc) and have some answers ready, with some alternatives, for if they don't stick to a script. It's just like doing the interview for the paper would be, only people will be listening to it rather than reading it.
