The rankings are coming back.

False Colors sits at number one in Gay Lit and at 25 in Historical Romance.

TAKE THAT AMAZON!

Transgressions’ rating should be back soon!

That is wonderful Erastes, it was a long weekend, but worth it. Now we only need to be careful to understand if they backpedal in total, or only for who complained. Elisa

GYM DANDY hasn't got a ranking back, but it does have the "customers who bought" thing back.

Wow. We rule the internetz, eh? Should we start on world hunger next?

What Elisa said about hoping they restore it across the board and not just to the authors who complained loudest.

I won't think we've REALLY won until they issue an apology for discriminatory behavior, but it's a damned good start.

Yay!

Just finished reading about it all, and I also signed the petition - though probably too late to make any difference.

I don't think it's too late. The more people who make their feelings known about it, the less likely they are to pull something like this again.

yeah, well, when I see best-seller rankings back on Transgressions, Frost Fair and Standish I'll agree they've learned something.

OTOH, I was all yayyys this weekend every time I read blogs and news items quoting Mark Probst on this, or like Christiam Science Monitor this morning (http://features.csmonitor.com/books/2009/04/13/furor-over-amazon-ranking-system/), linking to his blog alerting us to this closeting of
"two newly-released high profile gay romance books: “Transgressions” by Erastes and “False Colors” by Alex Beecroft.
Not that I don't adore FC, but I so love and agree with this order! You're first in my book(s). And yayys on Amazon's stupidity for spreading the word on the goodness of gay romance fiction. {hugs Standish}

When I read that, I thought of you immediately. While surfing, I stumbled upon this little gem and thought you might be quite interested.

"Glitch?" I'm skeptical. However, as long as it is fixed, I am very happy.

Cheers!

Fan-bloody-tastic!! And I hope they kick the ass of whichever bigotted coder who let his 'moral conscience' get in the way of decency, common-sense and business ethics.
