Yes, well I did say I was bored in my last post, this is what I spent the afternoon doing instead of 1. working and 2. writing

A little while back [livejournal.com profile] rose_red73 did a poll about the 80's. Now, while I was definitely in and around and loving the 80's I was also around in the 70's – little minx that I was.

So – grab your platforms and your wedges, dust off the chest wig and the flares and if I need to tell you what wedges are, it doesn't bode well for your answers:

Quite Anglophile, so don't feel bad if you don't understand them, non Brits. ETA: Answers posted tomorrow!!!

And now I notice that it's about the 70s and not the 80s. No wonder I didn't know anything... I wasn't even a thought. Untill 78 when I was an embryo and 79 when I was a wee bitty baby. Why am I telling you this?

Oh god. I must really have been out of it in the 70s. I blame it on doing A-levels, going to college and the heatwave of '76. And not having access to a TV for a lot of that time. Or anyone to go to films with. So there. And I'll probably recognise most of them when you put the answers up too, but there you go!

1. Love Story
3. Clockwork Orange
14. Jaws / Jaws 2
17. What's-his-face in the James Bond movie?
25. Star Wars
28. Superman
29. Alien
31. I ought to know this one. Really I ought. Bugger. Star Trek - The Motion(less) Picture, I think.

OMG soooo many memories. It was really a joint effort between me and Ken though, I got stuck on a lot of the music and he sucks at TV (I was only born in 1973 after all :D)

I'm a bit sucky on the films though, I have to say (Ken has abandoned me to go to the pub now, so I'm on my own)

1. Love Story
3. Clockwork Orange
6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
10 The Omen
14 Jaws
17 The Rocky Horror Show
19 Carrie
21 Rocky!
23 Something by Woody Allen?
24 Saturday Night Fever
25 Star Wars
26 Um... The day of the triffids?
27 Is this not Jaws as well? Or Jaws 2?
28 Superman
29 Alien
30 The muppets
31 Star Trek (but only because I cheated and looked at [livejournal.com profile] aunty_marions.

EXCELLENT quiz. I have wasted an entire evening and done no accounts :D Your work is done.

On the other side from you
I pine a lot! I find a lot-
falls through without you
I'm coming back love! Cruel Heathcliff!
My one dream
My only Master

I did relatively well, I think, seeing that I didn't really get to live it.
