It’s been an absolutely gorgeous day today. I can’t keep the bird food on the bird table for 2 minutes altogether, I put it out and they scoff it.

Tuesdays will never be the same again! (on Jessewave’s Blog, at any rate)

The sweet and completely barking mad Jessewave has asked me to do a weekly column on her site, and I’ve said yes – I’ll be blogging this week on Thursday – about the nice things that happen in writing, and thereafter I’ll be blogging regularly on a Thursday.

EEK. I can yak daily about nothing, but writing a column once a week? scary stuff.

And at last, fat loss pills that we can buy in a Chemist. I’ve been waiting for these!! hurrah!

Good day for writing too, I’ve done 2,000 words, thanks to Etherpad. I was a bit stuck on where I was with Mere Mortals so I decided to write a scene that had been in my head for a day or so, it’s a bit further along in the book, but I do tend to write like that—jigsaw fashion.  And GOD it was hard. Not hard to write, it came out much more easily than I thought it would but you know what it’s like – when you do really horrible things to decent people, or, when you make people do horrible things to decent people—I feel sick writing it.  Poor Chris Smith was watching me write it, and she was pretty shocked too.  But it had to be done. You’ll love it. Trust me. *Evil cackle*

It was pretty horrific. And no Santas! But seriously, the reaction you got from me was the reaction of anyone who'd had some bad shit happen to them previously. And it was brilliant writing - brilliantly subtle, brilliantly well portrayed. Memo is a brilliant book!

Were there any frilly shirts being strategically left open upon bare, hairless chests whilst the prettyboys exchanged bodily fluids?

I think it will satisfy your pervy nature. There are frilly shirts aplenty in this.

:)

The power went out at the office and we were all sent home early, which of course means we've been drinking margaritas for the past four hours--so it could be the tequila talking, but:

Tuesdays or Thursdays? Because I think the next paragraph says you're blogging this week on Thursday and then regularly on Thursdays...

I sincerely hope there are no typos in this, especially given the number of times I backspaced to correct. *wry grin*

BTW, I was meeting an old writing pal at B&N and happened upon a table marked NEW RELEASES... guess which book I saw there? 3 copies...

Thursday this week, and then Tuesday after that.

confused? What did you expect? :D

:) Hurrah! And thank you! Hope it's not the same 3 copies someone sent me a photo of on a new release table last week.

Sadly B&N have had "complaints" and they are re-shelving and re-catagorizing them from Romance to GLBT. Ho hum. Disappointing, but at least we are IN there, so we can only hope we go upwards.

Is that Orlistat? Are they offering an affordable price? Please keep us posted, I am always a bit nervous of side-effects.

I feel stupid but...where does Tuesday come in, again? Is it Thursday this week, Tuesday next week...and then regularly on Thursdays?

Ah, the tequila hangover. Such fun.

Sadly B&N have had "complaints" and they are re-shelving and re-catagorizing them from Romance to GLBT.

But... wait a sec, the whole point of the series is to cater to straight females. Would such readers even think to visit the gay shelves of a B&N (that section is always tough to find and offers maybe 2-3 shelves worth)? Will they be forced to cut down on the number of copies stocked because of space limitations?

I wonder how this will affect the future of the series...
