Am watching the BBC version of BYRON and so far, he’s neither mad, bad or dangerous to know. He’s frankly repressed and most disappointing. Hopefully he will start ravaging young men at some point although I sincerely doubt it.
The scriptwriter needs a smack imho, too.

Talking of TV Versions.....
Date: 2009-06-13 06:35 pm (UTC)It was a really a brilliant read - I love the characters and was really surprised by Flurey. As I mentioned to Chris I reluctantly put down The Master and Margarita - Bulgakov to read yours and I believe it was a good decision.
Will definately recommend to my friends - some will probably faint but it makes for conversation which is all the more publicity ?
Best wishes to you and continued successful writings
