Bookshelf and romantics

Bagged a bargain today, went down into Norwich today, (which I loathe) and got a massive bookcase for £15 – this is it.

(this is from the advert, not my house, as as soon as I get it into situ, it will be stuffed with books) Plus my house isn’t so tidy!!!  It needs sanding down and tinting but it’s a bookcase!

I’m planning to put it where the upstairs hall banister is, which is one of those horrid 1970’s things with two wooden planks, and I can keep all my gay fiction is one place. I shall start scouring the cheapo ads and junk shops for more. 

OK – running off now to watch Desperate Romantics.  Millais, Rossetti, Ruskin… YUM!

I loved it, actually. Great eye-candy, but I loved the script, too - the young men were taking the piss out of each other all the time which seemed very real. I am glad it wasn't all serious and po-faced.
