Jorah Mormont, Robb Stark, Ayra, Sansa, Jamie Lannister, Theon Greyjoy and Dany I think it’s shaping up really really well. I like the idea they are going for a lot of English actors, and handsome ones at that.  I simply CANNOT wait for this.  Please George, write moar. They can film a lot faster than you can write it.  *pokes him *

I’m so close to the end of Mere Mortals I can taste it. I’m working in a way that I don’t recommend to anyone else. I have four sections and I’m adding to them all sentence by sentence, one bit is the main novel, which moves forward, one bit is the end, which moves backward, and the other two are inbetween scenes which are moving BOTH backwards and forwards.

I’m fairly sure that this is not normal.

Trouble with this business is that nothing's very quick, is it? even if Running Press say yes, it won't be in print for at least a year. and if they say no, then it's the inevitable shopping around.

I hear you! When I was young, I used to think I could figure out a way to organize my writing. LOL! I was so uninformed.

Is Mere Mortals a vampire story? I *adore* vamp stories. Of course, I like them all. And the sex content, for me, isn't important. I like to read it, but my favorite thing to read is mystery or intrigue.

Ah - no. Now I never thought about that. People might think it's a paranormal because of the title, but that's not the case. It's a regular gay historical - the title is a small pun on the fact that they live on a mere. The mortals part refers to the fact that someone is putting someone on a pedestal, ignoring the fact that he's mortal - and that human life, particularly orphans - in Victorian England was extremely tenuous.
