Improbable Hanging Baskets
Oct. 22nd, 2009 01:26 pmPlease pop over to my weekly blogpost on Jessewave’s Blog where I am discussing Big Gay Books and where are they? Where are the james Mitcheners of the genre?
Rainbow Reviews has done a very nice review of Queer Dimensions and given it a five star rating, and has given a short review for all the stories.
"Whatever the Risk" by Erastes is also quite a traditional sci-fi setting, but managed to hit more of my buttons, and offers a good, solid world, and a very engaging relationship.
The collection as a whole ranges from the strong to the brilliant, and comes highly recommended.
Yay! It was a lot of fun to break away from historical for a while.
I know I have mentioned this upcoming game before, but OMG hubba hubba - this is GAMEPLAY in this trailer, not just cut scenes. (Skip to 30 seconds as there’s artistic burble for far too long) But How sexy is that assassin? Look at the STRUT!!! AND YOU GET TO DRIVE A CARRIAGE!!!! It worries me a little that I find a game character so incredibly sexy. but – carriage!!! and you get to swim in this, which you can’t do in game one – you just sink. But as it’s £40 new, I’m going to have to be bloody patient, aren’t I? (Video is very violent, just to warn you) One thing I keep saying to myself is that Vimes is going to go bloody Spare. Two wrist knives AND a gonne? Let’s hope he doesn’t catch me.
