But with Ian McKellen in it….

I may be forced to watch.

I loved the original. I watched it in the mid-1980s when a local independent TV station broadcast the episodes -- in fan-approved chronology, not original broadcast order, no less! And when my family went to the UK in 1986, we visited Portmeirion, oh yes. Somewhere in a box there's a pic of me with the Lotus Six.

Ian McKellen is a worthy replacement for Leo McKern. I have never thought much of Jim Caviezel. But... JAMIE CAMPBELL BOWER. OH THE PRETTY. I would watch something MUCH stupider just to look at him!
