Someday, the food eats you…
I’m blogging today over at Jessewave’s Blog about being pleasantly surprised over a book you weren’t expecting much of.
Does anyone know Milan? Is there any famous restaurant or hotel which would have been around in the 1930’s – i mean I know Venice and London blah blah but Milan – I’ve been there, but I was doing “Europe on a dollar a day” so – not exactly the sort of restaurants where Guy would be taking his young man…

Date: 2010-01-19 08:23 pm (UTC)The Grand Hotel de Milano was definitely around -- I've used it for pieces set in the early twentieth century so it would probably work for you.
Also a possibility -- Savini's restaurant in the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuele might well have been around then.
