Can't I stay in bed and have it?  As much as I love breakfast - probably my favourite meal of the day - and a good hotel breakfast is to die for - I wouldn't get up at dawn for Sean Bean covered in buttery scrambled eggs.

I don't think there's anything in the food line I'd travel miles for specially. Have just come back from the UK filk con in Grantham, where I survived most of the day thanks to the breakfast buffet. (Bar snacks anything from £7 up, special lunches laid on for us at £6.50 were (Saturday) VERY peppery vegetable/minestrone soup and sandwiches of sorts - chunky (inch-thick!) brown bread, or hunks of ciabatta, but too much pickle/mustard/whatnot on for my taste; and (Sunday) jacket potatoes with choice of fillings. Dinner in the restaurant was £18...) Next year, to save money (if I can afford it at all!), I may end up at the Premier Inn across the road, which apparently doesn't do breakfast. I suspect Pot Noodle will play a starring role in my weekend...

A guilty hidden pleasure. Specially the spicy ones...

I would have the food. Last time I was on holiday (Cyprus) breakfast was included...seven until ten...and it was a Breakfast of Dreams. A five star hotel...and EVERYTHING you could wish for. Everything. I had never seen cheese for breakfast before, or salad...but there it was...my tastes are more continental so I didn't eat that, but graar...I get mildly aroused just thinking about it. Part of the reason I go anywhere is the food. I can be bribed really easily like that.

Hotel breakfasts. nom nom nom.

Yes, but 7-10 is a reasonable time. Dawn is NOT.

Depends on what time of year it is, ie, when does the sun come up?

Sounds like your ideal compromise would be to persuade SB to climb into bed with you and bring the eggs with him. (Preferably in a dish, unless you could also coax him into doing laundry.)

Persuade???? Can't I use ropes?

I think that comes under "coerce" rather than 'persuade,' but hey, it's your fantasy!

*giggles*

I'm not hugely fond of it either. Vegemite is FAR worse though.

LOL! I'm not any kind of morning person either, but for Sean Bean covered in just about anything I consider edible, I'd set my alarm. :D Hey, you can always take a nap later, right?

A cafe on Lake Vallecito about a 30 minute drive into the mountains called Pura Vida. Only open for breakfast and lunch in the summer, for every winter they close and go to Costa Rica. The best coffee and tea drinks, breakfast burritos to die for, yummy green chili, and eating on deck with a great view of the lake and San Juan Mountains. Plus friendly folks.

Yeah, at dawn, easy. We've done it. Lots.
