Oh this week Jeremy Paxman suddenly knows how to pronounce Don Quixote. About time too.  I loathe his smugness when people get questions wrong. He’s got the answers in his hand. I’d like to see him on a team.

Question: After Miranda’s declaration “Oh Brave New World that has such people in it” which is her father’s response.

Me: Whatever.

Answer: It is new to you.

Similar!  I preferred mine.

I got many right. Am smug.

I can just imagine the scene just after the camera went off.

Person 1: "Um, Mr. Paxman, it's pronounce 'Key-ho-tay', not 'Kwik-sote'."

Jeremy: "I don't think so."

Person 2: Yeah, he's right.

Jeremy: Whatever. [Goes off to look it up.]
