19. Favourite minor that decided to shove himself into the spotlight and why!

Most people will expect me to say Fleury, because he DID, and he is a favourite, but I think I really like Mordecai from Frost Fair more. I wish I wrote YA because I would love to write stories about Mord, about his sleuthing abilities in years to come. He’s got a very sharp mind and Gideon would have been in a lot of trouble without him.

Mordecai's a good kid and he can act from unselfish kindness; he's a step above Fleury in that respect, though he's probably not has as many hard knocks.

It'd be great to see him ten years down the road.
