Different type of sword, but when one of the recent Star Wars films came out (I think it was the 3rd new one) there were all these posters etc. of Vader (I think it was a version of this one where it looked like he was leaning on his lightsaber (although he did, sensibly, hold it by the hilt) like you get the poses of knights leaning on swords, and I just thought "But a lightsaber would cut through the floor!"
