It seems peculiar to me - most stations here stick with their big hitters on big holidays. Granted if the show went out at 4pm people are likely to be running around in the garden but by 9pm they are likely to be inside.
It's been that way as long as I can remember. I don't get it either. It's the same way if there's a "big event" (the Superbowl, the Academy Awards, etc.). All the other channels play reruns because they're afraid of it. They've given up on counter-programming, which is sad.
:( Everything is reruns this weekend due to the holiday. (Today is the legal holiday so no mail, no banks open, we are closed since we are USDA and the inspectors are off.)
I'm sorry. HBO arrange this weekend of reruns especially for me since they found out that I would be traveling and unable to view Eric and his beautiful bod until NEXT weekend. :)
Actually, I was THRILLED for the reruns. My parents have very basic cable and I was fretting over missing TB.
