…really looking forward to the new TV version of Sherlock where there is some…doubt… as to their relationship. Modern setting which will be interesting and fun.

I spent my “weekend” with good intentions – meant to get Horny Hussars edited and sent off, but I spent it Assassinatin’ instead. I discovered that you can download bonus stuff – like a whole new explorable tomb – from the internet via the PS3 and so there was no hope for me after that. I’m going to preorder Assassins Creed Brotherhood today too, as there’s a Beta-download to keep us busy before release in November and the multiplayer looks utterly brilliant and intense – so although my skills are improving and I rarely fall off the roofs anymore – I reckon there are 18 year olds all around the world who are going to make mincemeat of me.

The multiplayer looks brilliant so far. You are given a target, who is another player and they are somewhere in the city.  However, yet another player is given MY details as their target, so you’ve not only got to find your victim, you’ve got to be aware that someone is sneaking up on you…eeeeeee…  Now. Konami. How about doing this kind of thing for Metal Gear?

I see ABC has bought “100 ways to leave a gameshow.” I apologise in advance to the USA because it’s the most boring load of tripe I’ve ever seen.

I watched, and enjoyed, 'The Incredibles', and turned the TV firmly off before '100 ways to leave a gameshow'. Do Not Want. However, I intend to be glued to Sherlock tomorrow! The only problem is, can I watch the next two episodes of it? Next week should be possible, if I can persuade the friends I'll be staying overnight with; the week after that ... well, Mum does have two TV sets! (And I might just set the video recorder anyway...)

I love the Incredibles. I suppose that BBC or Endomel or whatever they are called thought they were cashing in on the slapstick fun of Total Wipeout, but 100 Ways is ... DULL. There's not even the fun of getting to see someone dumped from a high place who isn't expecting it, as he tells the victim in advance. Watched once, never again.

Yes, you'll have to get someone to record it if you can't get the iplayer! But let's be honest, it'll be repeated a dozen times before Christmas.

Well, the trouble with things like that on iPlayer is that they mostly only stay up for a week, and I'm off for two weeks in Swansea, City of Internetlessness. There is one, count it, ONE internet cafe in the main town centre. And I'm not forking out for an hour's internet at £2.30 an hour or whatever it is these days just to watch Sherlock. I'll try and tape it and/or hope for repeats.

I couldn't stand Total Wipeout either.

I'm looking forward to it too but haven't got my hopes up in re hanky-panky.
