The LOL cat post probably refers to the kitten looking upside down, but the kitten on the top right is boss eyed. I know JUST how he feels!

On a cat theme, here’s some pictures of the Snucius and La Lil. Under the cut to spare you.

1. I should have posted this on the “what’s on your desk?” meme. ONE ENORMOUS SEVERUS. He really is huge now, bless him.

2. Lucius, waiting for lunch to turn up. Luckily, lunch realised he was there and the garden became a no-fly zone.

 

3. A rare sighting in the outdoors, the lesser spotted Lili. It’s peculiar but she is actually asking to go out these days (typical, as we do have a cat door)

 

4. Proof that she’s been outside. Behold! My beautiful white cat is FILTHY!

 

5. Hospital pictures. Mmm. Healthy. Fish fingers and croquette potatoes. A sandwich (I think they were embarrassed about having no vegetables) and jelly and ice cream. Are we 12? (It was nice though) :)

 

6. TWO BY TWO – HANDS OF BLUE!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And yes, I am reading Jim Butcher in hospital.

Also, I am confused. They gave you a sammich because they ran out of veggies? That is rather odd! LOL!

i was confused too, the food was pretty tasty but very fluctuating - one night we had that fish and sandwich, nice and filling - and then the next night it was just a tiny bowl of soup and a slice of horrible bread.

No chance of a group shot - the Snucius snuggle up together, and sometimes Lili and Lucius (if she wants to get warm) but all three? Nah.

Filty Lili reminds me of my Louis. He would go outside and immediately roll in the dust. He went from black and white to all grey in ten seconds.

Yes, that's what it was. The boys both do it, and come in covered in bits and dust, but she rarely goes out until recently - and they've obviously shown here what FUN it is... humph.

Hopsital food is designed to make you want to get better soon to get out and eat normal food. I used to play a game of trying to remember what on the previous day's menu I had ticked that looked like what was just put in front of me - "guess the mess" as Dad calls it!

what amuses me is that don't fulfil either the five a day thing or how much one is supposed to drink either. you could ask for fresh fruit INSTEAD of dessert, but you weren't given any as a matter of course, and as you can see, no vegetables either.

If I have to go into hospital I am going to be such a pain in the arse about the food. That meal is just ridiculous!How are people supposed to recuperate from illness and surgery and stuff on junk like that?

it was tasty, but sheesh - where's the veg? the night before we'd had beef stew which was so salty it was almost inedible. You couldn't eat the sauce, so i just ate the meat - and again, there was NO VEG with the stew at all! Then they were fussing about people opeing their bowels. GIVE THEM SOME ROUGHAGE!

Thank you - and he may look it, but he's not really. Lili is topcat, if anyone is, as she bullies the boys unmercifully. But Lucius THINKS he is, as you can tell by the snooty expression!
