alone again, naturally.
Oct. 8th, 2006 10:00 pmThe new Jane Eyre adaptation gets better and better. I'm an addict of the canon and this is a good good version. Ok so Rochester is not quite as ugly as he should be (you can never beat Orson for that) and Jane is nicely plain (far more than De Havilland) but it's clear that the director loves and knows the canon - knows how sensual it can be, how intimate it can be.
I've seen the trailer for "Wide Sargasso Sea" and am not impressed. It looks like Samuel West as Rochester. No no no. But then, I wasn't impressed by the book either.
I've also seen the trailer for "Torchwood" which is coming to BBC3 first. Oh hubba hubba it does look good.
It's been a bit of a bleak weekend. Don't know where everyone is!!!! (whine)
